How a match plays
- Decks are 40 cards, led by a Legend. Your Legend has an ability you can use every round, and its Champion levels up mid-match once you meet its goal.
- Mana grows every round. Spend it on units that fight in lanes and on spells. Fast spells can be cast even while your opponent attacks.
- Attack, block and break through. Units carry keywords like Plated, Swift, Hunt, Breakthrough and Shrouded that change how a fight goes.
- Bring the enemy Citadel down to zero before they do the same to yours.

Normal matches
Jump into a match against another player in seconds.
Ranked
Seven tiers from Iron to Realmbreaker. Reach Gold to earn the Victorious Shieldmaiden art.

Free tournaments for 8 to 16 players, with a signed promo card as the prize.
Friends
Invite friends to private matches and trade cards with them.
Collect the art
Packs hold new cards, and some copies come with rarer paintings: Alt Art, Special Art, Secret Art and the very rare Ultimate. Craft the cards you are missing, trade with friends, or buy and sell on the community Market.
Questions
- Is Realmbreak free to play?
- Yes. You get seven decks for free, and every mode (the tutorial, normal matches, ranked, friend matches and Crown Cup tournaments) is free. Coins can be bought for packs, but you never need them to play.
- Do I need to download anything?
- No. Realmbreak runs in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. On a phone you can also add it to your home screen to play it like an app.
- How do I learn to play?
- Open Learn in the game. Short guided lessons teach the rules on a real board, one idea at a time. Online modes unlock once you finish the first five lessons.
- Can I play with my friends?
- Yes. Add a friend by their Realmbreak name, then invite them to a private match. Friends can also trade cards with each other.
- How does ranked work?
- Ranked has seven tiers: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Realmbreaker, each with three levels. Wins earn LP and losses cost LP, sized by how strong your opponent was. Reaching Gold earns the Victorious Shieldmaiden card art.
- Is the Open Beta open?
- Yes, the Open Beta is live now and free to play. Everyone who makes an account before Saturday 17 October 2026 at 17:00 UTC becomes a Founder: the Founder card back for good and a free Booster Box.
